Hook Productions is owned and operated by Randy Vanderhook (DJ Hook) and Sheena Dean. We take pride at being the best in the business. We are constantly researching new techniques and upgrading our equipment to stay ahead of the industry.
We strive to work within a customer's budget, which keeps us reasonably and competitively priced. We are professionally licensed and provide contracts with every booking.
We are committed to making each event memorable and unique.
About DJ Hook (Randy)
Randy, a.k.a. DJ Hook, has loved music since he was a child. He played in the marching and concert bands throughout school. Music has always played a major role in his life. When he had a chance to guest DJ he jumped at the opportunity and has enjoyed every minute of it since then.
Randy started his DJing career at Harpoon Hannas and progressed to other bars and nightclubs. Eventually we broke our way into weddings, anniversaries and corporate events. This is how the business of Hook Productions began.
DJ Hook has played numerous places in the Newark, DE area including Klondike Kate’s, Kid Shellie’s and East End. He has also performed at many popular hang outs in the beach area including Harpoon Hanna's, the Chalkboard, Mackey's, Fagers Island, High Stakes, Mickey’s Family Crab House, Brew River, Magnolia's, Lifeguard competitions and many other private events such as weddings, anniversaries, birthday parties, corporate events and much more.

Service Area
Hook Productions is centered out of Bethany Beach, Delaware.We offer service to the Delmarva Peninsula and beyond. The general area of service is usually within 2-3 hours, but with sufficient notice and planning we can make exceptions.
Policies & Procedures
We do not double book large events. Two (2) bars / clubs can be performed in the same day given the times are not conflicting. When you book DJ Hook, you get DJ Hook, not another company DJ. Clients have access to our DJ phone number and, on the day of the event, will be given access to private cell phones for emergencies.
