Some guidelines are given by the venue, but essentially it is left to DJ Hook to use his uncanny ability to play music that feeds to the type of crowd. The time of day, venue, ambiance and location play a part in the types of music that are chosen. Informal parties will be given planners and event itineraries, however, it is ultimately up to DJ Hook as to what the set list will be.

Equipment and Music Offerings

We, at Hook Productions, pride ourselves in having enough equipment to have a backup system in place. So, in the event of a primary equipment failure, we can setup our backup equipment.

We have about 60,000 songs at our disposal for your event. If we do not have something that you would like played at your event, we will be more than happy to purchase it. We take requests, but strictly stick to guidelines given by clients. Edited versions of songs are available. Any type of music is attainable from our extensive database.

Policies & Procedures

We do not double book large events. Two (2) bars / clubs can be performed in the same day given the times are not conflicting. When you book DJ Hook, you get DJ Hook (not another company DJ). Clients have access to our DJ phone number and, on the day of the event, will be given access to private cell phones for emergencies.
